Six issues deep meant it was the autumn of 2009, and even though we thought this thing would have gotten us laid more, we were still dedicated to providing the Northern Beaches with high-quality, free street press. Dan Raymond’s architecturally-bent artwork, a barrage of thought-provoking questions for underground charger Dom Wills, the latest range from on the rise fashion label, The Cassette Society. We shot a shit-hot skate sess with some of the Peninsula’s best young shredders and interviewed photographer Ben Cregan. We profiled booger photographer Lee Kelly and performed a legitimate psychological exam on Modular sweethearts Van She simply to found out why so many people want to fuck them. |

Third-time-lucky we: met local snowboarder Nate Johnstone & electronic music producer extraordinare fRew, heard about the crazyness that is surfing Shippies, showed off the sweet grapevine miniramp underneath our office with Trav & shorty, and heard from Dave Vlug – who’s turning heads with his smooth style and absurd ability to bust full rotation frontside and backside flips. |
